TV-Commercial to promote tourism in Overijssel, Netherlands.
Commissioned by MarketingOost and in collaboration with the advertising agency Lemon Scented Tea, we produced several commercials to promote tourism in the eastern region of the Netherlands: "Overijssel". The campaign name is VisitOost and developed by Lemon Scented Tea (we collaborated earlier on several shorts for Whole Earth, which tasted for more).
The commercials were broadcast on several national TV channels. The footage was shot in Twente and features, among other things, the castles Twickel in Delden and Singraven in Denekamp.
The theme of the campaign is that Overijssel is un-Dutchly beautiful. You don't need to go abroad to visit a vineyard or castle. Come and enjoy a royal overnight stay on a Twente estate, discover the most charming high tea locations, or pamper yourself with Twente-style wellness. This is where you need to be! visitoost.nl/hiermoetjezijn.
Overijssel. Overheerlijk on-Nederlands.
The tagline "Overijssel. Overheerlijk on-Nederlands" can be translated in; "Overijssel. Delightfully un-Dutch." the tagline suggests that Overijssel offers experiences and landscapes that are unexpectedly different from the typical Dutch experience, emphasizing its unique and delightful qualities.
For a visit to a beautiful water-rich area, you don't need to go abroad, as you can find it in the Weerribben-Wieden National Park in Overijssel.
Weerribben-Wieden is one of the most special areas in the Netherlands and the largest fenland area in Northwest Europe. Thanks to the hands of peat cutters and reed cutters, a unique landscape full of lakes, waterways, reed lands, swamp forests, and quaking bogs was created. Charming water villages, breathtaking unspoiled nature, canals, and waters make this area a perfect location for a holiday, weekend getaway, or day trip. There is plenty to experience all year round!
